SMD Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Can't seem to find any electrical training videos for Autocad LT which is used at my job. Quote
ReMark Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 AutoCAD LT is not designed to be a dedicated electrical design tool, it is just a general drafting tool. Quote
BIGAL Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 There may be some programs out there they would have to be plain lisp as I think 2024LT does not support say ARX programs. There may be some at the Autodesk Apps Store. If you google make sure you add "Autocad Lisp" eg "Cable trays autocad lisp" Quote
Barnoe Posted April 17 Posted April 17 (edited) It depends what you mean by electrical design. I design electrical infrastructure such as LV and HV networks including substations. I design mains and services for new developments from Substation to end service, this is domestic, commercial and industrial. You can use LT for internal electrical wiring and if you set up dynamic blocks for all the equipment, it would work quite well. It would just require some setting up first. I have to drawing plant room layouts including the distribution board layout, showing front and plan view. For this i find AutoCAD LT works fine for me. Apologies, just realised this is from November lol Should have checked that before replying. Hope you got it sorted Edited April 17 by Barnoe Quote
