Selection window not working

Hi

 

I am having problems with the selection windows, when I try to select items to move, delete, rotate with a left/right or right/left window, the window does not appear and therefore nothing is sellected.

 

Is there a varible that turns this on and off?

Options > Selection > Implied windowing maybe?

Try setting PICKAUTO to 1 and see if that solves the problem.

the pickauto is already set to 1 so it not that

 

And the implied windowing is already turn on

 

Have you got any other ideas

The window selection does not work when I am not in a command

 

I am going to be away for the next 5 days so I will have to get back to you next week

Have you tried telling it to draw a window after the command and before selecting by typing "w" at the command line?

Hi,

 

Go to OPTIONS menu > SELECTION > VISUAL EFFECT SETTINGS

 

Now select the desired options.

 

Under the Selection Preview in the SELECTION tab, there are two options 1) When a command is active

2) When no command is active

 

Select both the options. And I think your problem will be solved.
