spittle Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Is there a way to make it possible to drag for example the text indicating the chainages on my long section? All is fine when I choose to display only major chainages but if I'm showing chainages at vertical or horizontal alignment/profile changes then sometimes the text will overlap. And I can't see a good solution - currently I'll stick a couple of bits of text over the top with background masks but obviously this is not dynamic and leaves room for potential errors. Quote

Jam3s Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Dragging band labels in 2009 is not possible. This is a now in 2010 and you'll be able to stagger the labels avoiding overlapping texts. I think the workaround for now is to export the long sections to acad and move the texts which is a pain and as you said is not dynamic. Quote
