How do I copyright My drawings

As a service for my masonry company I do 3d Models and I would like to know how to copyright those models to keep some one else from using my designs. Any Ideas?

Don't supply *.dwg files, send 'em *.pdf files. Give "notice" on every drawing.

 

Have part of your title block stating, "Not for distribution without prior written permission." Or, something similar.

Make images on your drawings. Then pdf those images.

I wouldn't, because then you're not only rusting that company, but all

their employee's and then all the other companies that the one you

trust has placed their trust in. somewhere along the line someone

WILL break that trust, it a sad truth, but the truth usually is.

I don't know if you could copyright a construction design.

 

If worried, offer your drawing for sale. Charge for your work.
