itacad Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Hi, I would like to compare a series of files to see what has changed from the previous revision to the next revision. The files are several, but I have to compare them "in pairs". Is there a system to perform a comparison between files in AutoCAD? If you use xrefs, a feature has been introduced in some versions that helps to highlight the changes that have occurred, but I don't know of a practical and fast way to compare two files. Thanks in advance Quote
SLW210 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 DWG Compare compares 2 drawings and there is Drawing History if you use the cloud. You are correct on them not being that good and they have limitations. Compare Drawings I believe there might be some non-AutoCAD related file comparing programs. I didn't have a lot of drawings last I needed that, I just used XREF and had each drawing version a different color. Quote
