zguy99 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 I am trying to make a pressure network in Civil 3D 2023 using the out of the box catalog and styles , but after I model the pipe it is not even close to the size it says it is in the catalog, i.e., this 10" pipe from the catalog is inserting into the model with an outside diamater under 1". The "Standard" Pressure Pipe Syle is set to use the part dimesions and my drawing units are set to Engineering Inches so I don't know what could be causing this? I'm pretty new to Civil 3D so any help would be much appreciated. Quote
zguy99 Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 I think this has something to do with my lack of understanding of the display units and drawing units feature. I finallly got it where when I draw a 36" line 1'=1" but Is there anyway to make it where 1"=1" in Civil 3D? Quote
troggarf Posted Friday at 05:48 PM Posted Friday at 05:48 PM I know that this is old, but did you find a solution? I am wondering if you are sure that you are pathed to the metric pipe catalog?... Quote
CyberAngel Posted 38 minutes ago Posted 38 minutes ago Just a wild guess, did you try using architectural units instead of engineering? That might explain why a 10" pipe is less than 1"; could it be .833", that is, smaller by a factor of 12? or maybe change the drawing units to inches? Quote
