itacad Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Hi, I solved my need to make a double color dotted line, following this explanation https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Creating-multicolored-linetypes.html I created two dashed line styles with alternating dash pitch (I could have done it better but the result is enough for my use). I'm attaching the file, maybe it can be useful to someone. I only have to solve the problem of the thickness of the multilines...I understand that it is not as easy to solve as in a polyline and I have seen discussions on the topic on the Autodesk site, but before I document myself "elsewhere" I ask you. Thanks in advance for any suggestions double color dotted multiline.dwg Quote
BIGAL Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Why not just make your own version of a mline and pick say a centre pline then offset twice and set correct linetype and width of pline very easy. Can keep c/l just freeze it. Quote
first_Rate Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Bigal, can you please explain a little bit more on how make a mline with two colors. I tried to follow your directions and I can't make it work. if you can share a file with your example. thank you, Quote
