Hello, I need some help regarding Layouts to DWGs and DWGPROPS. I'm currently using the original layouts to dwg command that Bijucad09 posted. Everything runs good until I open the new drawings, and all of my DWGprop links have been removed. They are replaced with "#'s"

Any insight would help. Thank you!

Hello,

I am having issues with DWG Props delinking each time I use the Layouts to DWG LISP command. I'll attach the LISP command and 2 photos showing what my title block looks like before and after using Layouts to DWG.

Any insight would be appreciated! Thank you!

Sorry not at the moment - I'm way to tied up in my job to work on it. I only have time to do this when things are slow at work.

It is more than likely as your using fields that when you copy to new dwg, all the object ID's are reset so it no longer works. Same object copied into a 2nd dwg.

DWG1 object id1982696560

DWG2 object id 1295687472

Depending on how you made the fields you will have to remake again. Where I worked last, -we used text in the attributes and used fields where they read global values, like Sheet X of Y, the X & Y are fields related to layouts so work in all dwg's.
