Need Contour Lines (0.5m) from XYZ CSV - DWG Output for AutoCAD LT

Hello everyone,

I have a CSV file with about 8,000 terrain points (X, Y, Z coordinates). I need to generate contour lines (isohypses) at 0.5 meter intervals, and I need the output in DWG format, compatible with AutoCAD LT 2013.

The CSV file is clean — columns are properly formatted with decimal points and no empty fields. Ideally, I would like:

Blue contour lines for whole meter elevations (e.g. 25.0, 26.0...),

Green contour lines for half-meter elevations (e.g. 25.5, 26.5...),

Elevation labels placed as text in a separate layer.

Unfortunately, I don’t use Civil 3D — only AutoCAD LT 2013 — so I’m unable to generate contours myself.

If anyone is able to help me process the file and send back the DWG, I’d really appreciate it!

I can share the CSV file via Google Drive, WeTransfer, or any method that works for you.

I have moved your thread to the AutoCAD LT Forum. Please post in the most appropriate forum.

 

You to put the correct AutoCAD you use in your profile, there should be an option for AutoCAD LT 2013.

 

Your options will be limited using an older AutoCAD LT.

I had a quick look at the file, but it is not useable for my method of working.

 

It is NOT a CSV file. It is a space delineated file, and the column widths are not consistent throughout the file.

There seem to be three copies of data numbers 1 to 2631. The first two copies of these numbers seem to be duplicate data.

 

The site seems to be a long road with areas of detail. There are isolated detail points, so what happens to the contours in these areas?

 

I am afraid it is not a simple job for me, so I will pass on this occasion.
