CyberAngel Posted Tuesday at 12:30 PM Posted Tuesday at 12:30 PM Parcels have numbers (integers) but also names (strings). Do you want to format the name so that it includes the original number plus a slash, plus some other number (could be total parcels)? That could be as simple as changing the parcel label style. If it's something more complicated, you might need some code. I'm not sure what you want. Quote
Butch Posted Tuesday at 12:39 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 12:39 PM I want that the parcel number can be writen with / when desired....egsample 1852/3 Quote
CyberAngel Posted Tuesday at 02:56 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:56 PM I created a parcel. I gave it a number and a name. I modified the default label to include the number, a slash, and the name. Now the parcel has a label that looks like what I believe you want. If that's not correct, please elaborate. Quote

CyberAngel Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Open the parcel label style definition. You can do that by creating the parcel, by finding the style in the Prospector under Parcel|Label Style|Area, or by right clicking on the label and selecting Edit Area Selection Label Style. On the Layout tab in the style definition, find the Contents. Click on that and then on the button with three dots. That should open the Text Component Editor. You can pull down a list of properties that you can add to the label. Select Parcel Number and then click on the arrow. That will transfer the property into the pane on the right. Do the same with the Name. In the pane, add a slash between the two properties. Add spaces or anything else if you like. Click OK and keep clicking OK until you're back in your drawing. Quote
