dear all i have text as PROPOSED & EXISTING  WATER CROSSING AT CH 81+137.23 & CH 21+152.45 and i want to take part of Thes text as name of title CH 81+137.23 & CH 21

i think as field but i can't doit can you help me

If I understand the question, you want to use the stationing as part of a text label and as part of a title block.

 

One way to do that is to define a custom property as one of your drawing properties. Set it to that text. Include the field in your text and in your title block. When you change the property, the field automatically updates with the new value.

dear its not big problem i know but every time edit name layout we must go to Titel frame and copy modified or edit and sometime forget edit so i need its field thank for all experts in these site

Rather than a field it can be done by finding the text removing not wanted part, then updating the attribute in the title block, the only stumbling block is it will work easy if the label is in a consistent X&Y location in every layout.

Is the original text and the desired results always the same lengths?

 

Is it TEXT or MTEXT?

 

Is the SCALE 1:1000 part of the TEXT/MTEXT?

 

Is the DRAWING TITLE an attribute, TEXT or MTEXT?
