Cant select inserted raster image

I changed a pdf we got to a tiff and inserted it into a drawing to see where the structural stuff overlays on the work we are doing. For some reason after inserting I lose the ability to edit in any way. I cant select and becasue of that i cant scale or move or rotate, I can select other things in the drawing and other things on the same layer in the drawing just not this any suggestions?

is imageframe set to anything other than 0?

How did you insert it? as a picture or as an ole object?

imageframe is set to 0 and i inserted through -imageattach

if i do a select all it will select it then I have to unselect everything else, which is a pain but its allowing me to continue to work, even if at a very slow pace

set image frame to 1 or 2.........1 will turn the frame on and the frame will also print out, 2 will turn the frame on but the frame will not be printed.

 

once the frame is on you can select the image then
