Entering survey data for Penn Foster Olsen Village Project

I am having issues with the beginning steps of the final project. I have been prompted to enter survey data, but every time i press enter to place the line down, it will just put a line down at where my cursor is.

You are starting from the benchmark are you not?  To create lines by bearing and distance enter the LINE command, pick a start point, let go of your mouse and at the command prompt type in the @ symbol first followed by the distance and the bearing.  Example:  @50.00'<N80d04'30"E.  By the way, I suggest you ask your questions in the thread I mentioned to you yesterday in our private message exchange.  Please do not start a new thread.  Thank you.
