Hi, I'm building a generator that outputs ISO 5457 borders and ISO 7200 title blocks as DXF (R12 and R2000). I'm the author, and I'm here to ask rather than to promote.

 

Things I'd like your experience on:

 

1. Units: R12 has no INSUNITS, so how do you make sure a 420 x 297 sheet stays 420 x 297 in a .dwt?

2. Attributes: do you edit them in place or redefine the block?

3. Text style: any trouble with arial.ttf on machines with different fonts?

 

I can attach a sample DXF if that helps the discussion. Thanks.
