I would like to know if there is a fonctionnality on AutoCAD to calculate the interior capacity of a shape, per example; a bottle. If I want to design a bottle with a contenance of 8 oz, how can I know the exact size and dimension that I should draw my line to form a botlle with that contenance?

Thank you,

Sylvain,

Dont really remember to much about it, but take a look at the "massprop", command i know that Cad will give you a list of properties including volume of a solid, you may be able to mathematically convert this to fluid oz in some way!

A gallon is 231 cubic inches.

A clue perhaps?

The "shape" must be a solid. So if you drew the contour, revolve it. After that you can use Massprop" as suggested.
