sylvain Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 I would like to know if there is a fonctionnality on AutoCAD to calculate the interior capacity of a shape, per example; a bottle. If I want to design a bottle with a contenance of 8 oz, how can I know the exact size and dimension that I should draw my line to form a botlle with that contenance? Thank you, Sylvain, Quote
Penfold Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Dont really remember to much about it, but take a look at the "massprop", command i know that Cad will give you a list of properties including volume of a solid, you may be able to mathematically convert this to fluid oz in some way! Quote
Tankman Posted November 30, 2008 Posted November 30, 2008 A gallon is 231 cubic inches. A clue perhaps? Quote
fuccaro Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 The "shape" must be a solid. So if you drew the contour, revolve it. After that you can use Massprop" as suggested. Welcome in the forum, Sylvain! Quote
