View->3D Views->Back or you can use the view toolbar.
Any reason why the camera can't be created from a Top view though?

Even If i can rotate the plan by 90 degrees.. but this stupid program is confusing me, and is only allowing my to rotate manually then things get scewed.

Sorry, but I don't really have much experience in 3DMax so I'm afraid I can't really help you there. Did you check the helpfile for any camera controls?

Just right click on the text in the upper left corner of the viewport that says Front or Left or Perspective or whatever, then select Views and then select Back.
