BIGMIKE09281946 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Where do they go? If I initiate a search it can't be found! Quote
ReMark Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 They should go to the folder where you opened your last drawing unless you've choosen a different location. Quote
dbroada Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 they go where you WBLOCK them to or they stay in the drawing. Quote
BIGMIKE09281946 Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 I get into a pickle now and then that, leads me to a state of "Confusion"! A simple thing like adding a switch that can be moved from left, to right, and to center works the 1st time but I can't repeat it and end up with a dozen files. If I had more hair I would pull it all out. Quote
BIGMIKE09281946 Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 Thanks ya'll, think I got it. Now what I gotta do is see if I can increment a move parameter. Quote
ReMark Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I'm sure this all ties in somehow but until I take another hit on the bong I can't seem to wrap my mind around it. Quote
BIGMIKE09281946 Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 I am handicapped, and am on Oxygen 24/7. It took the doctors 10 years to get around to figuring out what I had told them on day 1. So I don't have a lot of brain matter left to use. This AutoCAD is really hard to figure out what with the way that I am trying to learn it. I only have you guys, a text book, and a student copy of AutoCAD 2006. Forget trying to get Penn Foster's instructors to help me out. There just minimum wage IT's, maning a PC terminal. Quote
dbroada Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 BigMike, We (if I do, I am sure other do too) know you have problems that we never want first hand knowledge of. You come on here and try to help yourself. For both those reasons I try to help you whenever I can BUT I have no idea what you were asking last night. AutoCAD is huge, it takes time to learn. There are many languages spoken, I don't always understand English the way American's use it despite it being my native tongue. Therefore some days it will be frustrating. Stick at it though and you'll get there. You questions are already more advanced than they used to be! Quote
