I have a wall which is on top of another wall (ground & first floor) I can use the opening command for the ground floor and it cuts the wall nicely. If i try to do this for the wall directly above it doesnt cut the call out??? any ideas?
cheers

Really? The "opening" command? Where might I find that command? I need to check it out.

Thanks. For a moment I had grand visions of using a "new" command. I did not realize you are using MEP. I'm using vanilla 2009. No such command.

I use architecture and not MEP so I'm guessing here, but do you have to set the height of the openings? I know in Architecture, you have to specify a threshold height for any doors. Try finding this setting and specify your threshhold height to be the finished floor heigh of the second floor.

This thread has been moved to the MEP section. In the future, to avoid confusion, you should post your questions in the appropriate forum for the software you're using.
