Matho Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 G'day, Does anyone know why my rotated dimension keeps moving from it's current postion? I'm dimensioning (in paper space) a 3d pipe drawing and everytime i go into model space or into another layout, some of the dimension move to the right of screen. The whole dimension is increased too. I'm not moving or adjusting any pipes in model space only adding lines to show sections or planner group..... Quote
Matho Posted January 30, 2009 Author Posted January 30, 2009 It happen again when i was stretching the viewport by it grip points. Its obviously to me that this is the coarse. Any ideas why this happens? Quote
Matho Posted January 30, 2009 Author Posted January 30, 2009 I just checked the associative setting using DIMASSOC and their set on (2). So the answer is yes. Quote
Hugh_Compton Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 Try turning your dim 'association' off as an experiment. If your dims are still moving then you will have ruled out 'association' as a problem. --------------------------------------- 3D AutoCAD Pipework – http://www.HerculeDesign.com Quote
Matho Posted February 11, 2009 Author Posted February 11, 2009 yes thats the problem, dim association set on 2 and when the geometry is moved, so does the dim. Thanks Quote
