Kemion Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 I'm having trouble with the 3d orbit auto targeting. It seldomly centers correctly, and I've been having this issue since AutoCAD '09. What could be causing this? I've tried toggling the 'enable orbit auto target', which does nothing. Very frustrating. - Kemion - AutoCAD 2010 x64 English - Windows XP Pro x64 - Quadro FX1700 - AMD Phenom II X4 @ 3.2Ghz - 4GB RAM - 2x .5TB in RAID 0 - Quote
shift1313 Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 when you use the steering wheel you can manually move the orbit center anywhere on an object, line etc. if you ZOOM, Extents, the center of your screen i believe is where autotarget will use. Ive never used it because manually moving the orbit center works for me. Quote
JD Mather Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Try the command 3dorbitctr and you choose the target. Quote
Kemion Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 yes. I was hoping there was a fix for the shift-middle mouse combination to make it a little more automatic. perhaps a macro will suffice - Kemion - Quote
