AEKDB5 Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Has anyone had to convert 2000i dwg's into a current release lately? Has the dwg's had any problems at all. I have done some in the distant past and not had any problems...but here in a few more months I will finally have my company upgrade, to 2010 I hope and was just wondering if anyone hs converted dwg's from such an older release of AutoCAD like I will be doing...any comments about it, or problems you came across, please let me know. ReMark Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 The drawings should open just fine. There is no "conversion". It is a dwg file format and will be recognized by AutoCAD 2010. On the other hand, you would have a problem if you tried to open a drawing done in 2010 with an old release of AutoCAD such as 2000i. Quote
