Block Definition

Does anyone know if there is a way to remove a block defintion from a drawing? or make the block text not attatched to the block defintion?

I tried purge but it won't work because there are blocks in my current drawing that reference the block defintion I want to delete.

Have you tried BEDIT to remove the nested block or block text you don't want?

I tried that as well and I didn't get the results I wanted. I think I figured it out though. I used QSELECT to select all of the blocks and then deleted the block text in the properties that I didn't want to show on the drawing. I then used the BURST command to remove the block reference. This created the block reference as text and removed those blocks from referencing the block defintion that I wanted to delete. Thanks for your suggestions.
