Good Morning everyone

I am going to be updating my AutoCAD 08 to AutoCAD 10 . I was wondering if there was an easy way to transfer all my scripts and my lisp commands. Any information or ideas would be appreciated.

I don't know if it's as easy as just copying the files over to a new location to do this or not.

Thank you,

Kat

I keep my lisps (and scripts) in a folder structure removed from AutoCAD. Then just add the path in AutoCAD2010 in Options, Files. I have my acaddoc.lsp located in there so it finds it and loads.

I simply use C:\ACAD\ACADDOC.LSP

C:\ACAD\

C:\ACAD\LSP\...

Makes things easy when upgrade or reinstall time comes.

One should never mix custom files in with program files as one risks losing them when updating software.
