STANLEYDDUPLI-CAD Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 I'm using version 2009, but I need to save down to 2005. When I open the drawing in version 2005, my text is not appearing in the right location. Any help...? Quote
lpseifert Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 It may have something to do with the system variable Savefidelity. Take a look in Help. Quote
STANLEYDDUPLI-CAD Posted September 21, 2009 Author Posted September 21, 2009 Well, my system variable for save fidelity is set as 1 and the save fidelity in my options panel is turned on, but I figured this out...when I explode my mline text and then save it as '05, the texts stays where it's supposed to. It's annoying for someone else to have to work with single line text though. Any thoughts on how not to have to explode your mline text to make this work? Quote
dhanraj Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Hello, I'm facing almost the same issue. I've Autocad Architecture 2013, it works fine until I open the drawing in another PC which has Autocad 2007, Or my own PC with Autocad 2008 (which I installed to check for this issue only). In both earlier version, all the text and dimension styles changes automatically. I searched the forum, somewhere it is told to make the same fonts in textstyles in both the computers/versions. It is not helping though. Quote
