Layout from Template problem

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I'm having a scale-problem when inserting a layout from one drawing(A) to another (B) using the command layout;t;

For some reason the layout that's inserted in my drawing (B) get scaled by some factor. I've the same units (meter) in both drawings and the annotation scale are also the same.

I tried to do it the other way around, inserting a layout from B to A and then there are no problem.

Any ideas?

Can someone clarify why according to the FAQ - INSUNITS 13 and 14 are both microns? According to the help file in 2010, INSUNITS 14 should be Decimeters.

Strix: I have INSUNITS, INSUNITSDEFSOURCE and INSUNITSDEFTARGET set to 6 in both drawings but the layout still gets scaled...

dbroada: I think it's constant. The layout gets scaled with a factor of 1000, which indicates a typical meter to mm problem, but i can't find out what is the problem...

have you gone in to the "problem" file and checked that the units are set to 6 in there. I have had problems with the INS* variables not behaving as expected in the past.

yes I've set the INS* variables in both files

and the UNITS? It sometimes seems to override the INS* variables.
