Creating a Helix along a radiused surface

More information is needed. Taking only the information you have supplied quite literally, yes.

I'm trying to draw a footing dowel with a 90 degree hook on one end. I tried to upload the file but It was too large even after I zipped it up.

I have created the helix along the horizontal and vertical legs of the dowel but I cannot get the helix along the 90 degree bend of the rebar. Thanks

Thanks, I looked at this post yesterday before I posted the question. I need to get the helix to follow a 90 degree bend in a rebar.

That sounds like it would be a lot of work in AutoCAD. Simple Coil and Bend feature in a modern 3D program like Autodesk Inventor.

You can create a curved Helix in Autocad. I used a polar array on a single turn 360 deg helix to create this one. It's not perfect but works visually.
