Yes it is a big plus! Most modern graphics cards have dual screen support. I would not get a bottom of the barrel one though plan on spending a bit on a good one. I myself prefer nVidia based cards.

nVidia I use also. Once you get spoiled with 2 monitors there is no going back.

I couldn't work on a single monitor system. I been on dual screen systems since 1991.

Who remembers "Non-VGA Graphics Cards"?

I remember running a different cadd system it is what became known as MicroStation now from a vax machine. That was around when version 2.5 of autocad was out 1985. I guess I am showing my age :)

Ahh....the ol UStn on the Vax system, with the Dual 21" bohemith monitors on the slanted table with a tablet - you must have been workin for the DOT.

I remember seeing a pile of them, the monitors and the tables, out behind the DOT buildings waiting for the Junk man....the PC killed the Vax.

You are correct UStn. That was very good. Evidentally you are no recent graduate. I even have a tattoo from a ink pen fond memories.

I actually worked for a engineering company called Donohue & Accociates. Did alot of mapping.
