AutoCAD 2010 - Ribbon issues

Hi all,

I have recently had AutoCAD Architecture 2010 installed on my work machine and Im still trying to get my head around the changes from 2005 but Im getting there.

So my issue is the new ribbon feature, I dont particuarly like it and typically have it minimised but there is still a few tools I like to use from it.

Now for some reason I can still see my ribbon and the drop downs as normal but i cannot select or use any of the tools even though I can see them? (the lettering and tool pics do seem to be faded/gosted as I cant select them) It just went like that yesterday and now I cant use anything from my ribbon although I can still see it all.....

Any suggestins or quick fix command/setting? Anyone able to help me solve this one?

I tried serching in the help menu but couldnt find a solution. :D

UPDATE - I just found another post with the exact same isse I seem to be having but there seemed to be no outcome or fix to his problem....

Post is here - http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=42669

Thanks

try changing workspace to 3d or 2d and or setup a earlier version of an autocad workspace. On the bottom right there is a white gear looking thing. You can change your workspace from there. Also, you could try clicking on new to start a new drawing and pick an acad template. Hope things work out
