Jpier Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I use a typical two button mouse with a wheel. I used to be able to zoom in and out by rotating the wheel forward or backward. That functionality no longer works. I am able to pan by depressing the wheel and moving the mouse. Is there some sitting that I accidentally hit that caused me to lose the ZOOM functionality using my mouse? Quote
hugha Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Try visiting the (windows) Settings > Control Panel > Mouse Buttons assignment. Check if you can make Program-Specific Settings for individual programs. If so set the wheel to Zoom for AutoCAD and similar. Quote
viviancarvalho Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Check the variable MBUTTONPAN Its value should be 1 in order to attain what you want. Quote
Jpier Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 Hi, I did as you suggested, but, unfortunately, I did not find any settings that would address my dilemma. Quote
edwinprakoso Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Does it work in other applications? browsers, word, excel, etc? Quote
Jpier Posted November 22, 2010 Author Posted November 22, 2010 I do notice that I can get the mosue to pan up and down through workd documents, but I don't have any better luck with the mouse wheel rotating to zoom a page. Quote
edwinprakoso Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Then it must be a Windows problem, or your mouse might be broken. Have you tried with other mouse? Quote
