2010 version in model space scale 1:1, set text height but appears much smaller than rest of drawing

Posted

Sounds like you are creating text or dimensioning in modelspace? If you zoom in the text height seems appropriate, right?

Unless you are using annotative text or dimensions, I would suggest putting those elements and your drawing sheet in paperspace.

Will you be utilizing a paper space layout? Yes/No/What is a layout?

Do you know what annotative scaling is and how it can be applied to text? Yes/No?

Probably your text is set to Annotative - highlight the text, bring up Propterties-palette (PR for short) and change Annotative to No.

Thank you very much Tiger - I will try it out and let you know

I would have to zoom in so far that I would lose the surrounding drawing. I will focus on use of annotative text and see if it solves the issue.

Thanks Dadgad

I can't say that I know what annotative scaling is but I will focus on that and see if I can solve the issue.

Thanks ReMark
