My LISP routine wont work.

Good day all. I uploaded a lisp file into AC 2012 and it shows that it uploaded sucessfuly. However when I go to run the routing i get the error message 'error: bad character read (octal): 4' Can anyone help?

Ensure the file is saved with encoding set to ANSI, e.g:

Have you edited the file using Wordpad or Word or other such programs, as these will add control characters to the file, causing errors.

No sir. I have only copied and pasted and/or saved it.

It is a compiled VLX file whose extension has been changed to .lsp

Change the extension to .vlx and try it.

Did you not think the content was unlike any other LISP file you have seen?!?

Im very new to lisp routines. In fact this one the first one i ever used. I have the vlx file as well and it doesnt work either... :-(

Why did you start a new thread? I have combined them.
