neokeelo
I have about 1000 AutoCad files that were messed up when converted from MicroCad to AutoCAD. I have the correct pdf versions of them though. So is there anyway I can convert the pdf files to fully editable files for AutoCAD (.dwg)? I need something that will keep the text and layers from the pdf file. If I can do this it will save me weeks of work. Thank you for any help you can give me.

fuccaro
Open the PDF in COREL DRAW and save in DXF or DWG format. Also Illustrator will do the work.
Barry
There is a brilliant little piece of software called: Aide PDF to DXF converter It is available to down load to trial from http://www.aidecad.com . I use it frequently and it saves hours of effort. Hope this helps

fuccaro
Yes, Macareewall, that thread is about the same thing. Just that thread is newer; you just answered an almost 3 years old question!
