i have bounced this one around the office and had not real answer so its your turn

i have attached a copy of the dynamic cut line block we are using

so the question:

when using the block you have a letter at each end so have 2 attributes saying the same is there anyway for setting it up so that you only enter the cut line suffix once and it appear at both ends ???

i did find that i could enter a field in Mtext to read the value of the attribute but this only set the field to the default setting and didnt change if the value did

many thanks

Adam

after you changed the value did you regen or do a qsave or a fieldupdate the fields dont automatically update with the change but these above will cause them to update

How about putting letters from A to say H and add visibility states to the dynamic block?

When using, you type nothing -choose the desired letter from the drop-down list.
