aisoos
Hey Everyone, I'm having a problem, I created a block w/ attributes for my border and saved it for future use on other drawings. But when I insert it, even if the units are the same the blocks I inserted scaled smaller than the actual border that i wanted it to be. Anyone able to help me please
lamensterms
Hi aisoos, Check the INSUNITS variable and/or the unit settings in the UNITS dialogue box. What method are you using to insert your block?
BIGAL
Not sure for MEP but check AECDWGSETUP this has some options which I think are written to the registry not dwg. Took us a while to sort out for some old blocks they came in 0.3048 scale which is feet/metric. Ok now

Well the scaling changes when i do the insert block... so for the time being i was doing copy clip w/ base
Dana W
It will only take a few seconds to run the command -dwgunits,(the dash has to be there) then follow the prompts and make sure your insertion units match your drawing units.
