s_samira_21 Posted August 6, 2014 Author Share Posted August 6, 2014 let me say what I think that you do! first you copied the border from model tab to layout tab of the 2d file! then you copied the 3d model from model tab of the 3d file to layout tab of the 2d file and at least you moved the 3d model in side of the border! is it correct? ReMark Posted August 6, 2014 Share Posted August 6, 2014 (edited) I copied and pasted the title block from model space to paper space. Once I had it set up the way I wanted I erased what was in model space. I copied the 3D fan from its original drawing and put it in model space in your "Table" drawing. The "border" as you call it is a viewport. It is a window through which we can see our model space objects. The 3D fan is NOT in the paper space layout; it is in model space. Look at the links I gave you previously. Your skills are commendable but you still have a few things to learn. If you PM me with your email address I'll send you a copy of my demonstration drawing.
