evilsorcerer1
I'm unsure about the different methods and systems for rigging characters. What's the difference between them? I'm just making characters for animation, not video games, if that matters. Which method is quickest and easiest? I'm hoping to find the best method before I start to learn so I can only use it, and not spend too much time learning different methods. Cad64
I'm not sure what you mean by "different methods and systems"? Have you looked at any tutorials? This one here is pretty comprehensive: https://tutsplus.com/tutorial/complete-human-character-rig-in-3d-studio-max-part-1/
ADSK2007
I'd stick with 3ds Max built-in biped system as it has a powerful section and menu on character animation - It also allows you to use external animated files like .bip or .bvh or mixing different animation sequences together
