Hi it's me again! I has two questions need to be solved.
The first question is about 3d text. I used to work with metric, but when i start to explode the plain text using txtexp command it turns to smaller than the original size. It has to scale by 25.4 order to getting back the original size. The question is there a way to set txtexp command in metric? The second question is about tool pallet. I'm trying to draw a diamond and need to make it in 3d, but don't have the clue about the material apply for so it will look sparkling. Can i import a jpg image of diamond to the material center/tool pallet and use it as base material or is there another way for it? Need advice please! Thanks. ![]() |

I have no idea why your text is scaling after exploding? Can you post the drawing?
Using a jpg image as a material for something like a diamond will not work. You need the diamond to be like glass, so a bitmap image will not work. Just use one of the default glass materials in the tool palette and then tweak the settings to achieve the look you want. |

Is your text annotative? If so, change properties to non-annotative, then txtexp it.

I've been trying all available tool pallets but none of its match for the diamond, is there a way to make a new pallet with glass material? here is the drawing file cad64!.
No, it's not an annotative alanjt. Although i set it in annotative i still need to scale it with 25.4. |

It's also happen when i solprof an object. I should set the block & insert to inch to get the actual size, but if it set to mm I need to scale it by 25.4. Although my default settings are set to mm. What's wrong with my setting?
