  1. Hi guys, I have 3d polyline net system as you can see down below, trying to measure every cell automatically (see attachment), problem is that net is 3 dimensional and hard to define measuring angular, every 3d polyline is individual (see attachment) just want to select the 3d polyline and giving measures between nodes, do anyone know how to solve this puzzle an easiest way? Best Regards
  2. Hi, I'm new to the Forums and this is my first thread. I have been assigned to draw an isometric and 2 dimensional view of a sprocket. It has to be to scale with the sprocket given to us. I can't figure out how to measure it, much less start it. My guess is to start with the center, but I can't even measure that. When I figure out how to post a picture, I will. What I can tell you so far is that all I am permitted to measure with is a 6" CEN-TECH Dial Caliper. Not sure of the name, but I can describe the center hole(s). The center looks like a gear with 6 (flat) teeth. Above that (I eyeballed the bottom of it at about 1/8 in. away from top of center) is a circle that my caliper reads at 0.276 in. in diameter. It has 14 teeth. Sorry for the long explanation, but I want to make sure the responses can be accurate as possible. When I get the pic, I'll post it. On this thread. THANKS SOOO MUCH!!!
  3. Hello As a hvac calculation engineer i often need to measure quickly pipes length and ventilation ducts area. Measuring pipes lenght is quite easy with qselect + tlen.lsp, but, so far, i've no idea how to measure ducts area quickly. I'd like to add that ducts surface seen in 2D would satisfy me and i only talk about 2D drawings. Do You have any idea how to do this measure? Maybe there are lisp routines that could help?
  4. I receive drawings from others and do material take-offs. I need to learn how to make real measurements electronically in a drawing so I can stop having them plotted so I can use a scale. thanks! gsf
