jmchl
Hi! The cursor cross hair has been rotated by mistake and I don't know how I could put it back straight (as default). What is the command to rotate the cross hair? If I want to draw an object on a 30 degres angle, how can I set the cross hair to 30 degres etc.? thanks! Noahma
Type in UCS then W for world, that should set you back to normal you can use the UCS command to rotate the crosshairs anyway you need, if you are in plan view you would rotate it by the Z-axis such as UCS Z use negative numbers to rotate clockwise, or positive numbers for counter-clockwise. riga
Command: _ucs and choose W (World) to return to default set. If you want the axis rotated after _ucs you choose Z and enter the rotation angle you want
sparklerach
To rotate the crosshair, you must use UCS. Check the help files if your not familiar with them.

Tiger
SNAPANG is also a possibility - that only rotates the crosshairs and not the UCS.
Strix
ahhh, I don't think anybody mentioned that when I asked about it a couple of months back What does SNAPANG do then? Bookmarking for FAQ btw

sleepy86
yes. Try to change to World ucs or snapang variable.
dal-designs
I had the same problem but none of the above helped (using vanilla AutoCAD 2014) My solution, for future posterity: PLAN > Enter > Enter
