Is it possible to get a list from all layer filters within a drawing through autolisp? So far I can create them by: (command "._-layer" "_filter" "_new" "_group" "" "0*" "0" "s" "All" "" ) but I cannot get the list from them

Layer filter question: multiple criteria
howitzer posted a topic in AutoCAD Drawing Management & Output
I already have a layer properties filter that doesn't show x-ref layers in the layer dialog box (~*|**). I want a filter that does that PLUS doesn't show layers that start with DT-*, EX-*, FU-*, SV-*. I have figured out sub-filters but it only wants to allow me one of those options at a time. If I try to add a second filter, on either the same line or another line within the same filter, it eliminates the previous filter criteria. AutoCAD's help files aren't very helpful in this regard. If I have four naming conventions I want to filter out do I need a cascading list of four sub-filters under the "no xref" filter? Is there a way to list ALL the differing filter criteria I want within one single property filter? Thanks -
Hello all, I'm looking to export layer filters (but not the layers themselves) to use in another drawing. I saw someone posted a screenshot in 2009 of the layer palette, which had a button to do this. But I can't seem to find this functionality in 2014. Any tips?

Hi All i know how to apply a filter to my Layers dialogue box - i use this often to just show local layers when i have a .dwg with a few xrefs in it, each of which have heaps of layers within themselves, and i don't need to see the xref layers etc does anyone know how to do a similar thing to the Properties bar layer field? until now, when i needed to change the layer of an entity, i click on the little arrow on the RHS of this drop down field in the properties bar, and then have to seek out my layer name, which could be amongst the hundreds of xref layer names, depending on the naming conventions used etc. i know with perfect naming convensions or by putting a "0" in front of my local layers, then at least all of mine will be grouped together at the top, but is there a way to bypass that option to ONLY show local layers??? thanks in advance

All, I am trying to see if there is any information in regards to interacting with Layer Filters within Visual Lisp or DXF or any other Programming Language. Please let me know I am in desperate need of commands to interact with layer filters. Kind Regards, Matt
