Hi, iam trying to refine my multibody/master part technique, i have run in to an annoying issue, when derriving from a master sketch, and only bringing the sketches i need for that specific part in to the part. I can then create my 3d part model, but if I alter the master skecth it automatically brings in every sketch in from the master sketch, i then have to turn them off manually:x what are your workflow when doing mastersketch/multybody work. i hope some of the geniuses can help:)

Hi, I am having trouble utilizing multibody, master part, modling. when I do a master sketch and derive it in to separate part files and generate 3d parts. when i go back and alterate the master part, some thing funny happens, in my part files where i derived the master sketch, i get to sketches one whit the original name and one with name_1, the updated sketch is name_1 and the original does't update, it breaks connection. what am I doing wrong?? I have three pic. one whit the assembly, one whit master sketch, and one a partfile where i have derived the master sketch, as you can see, i have dør and dør_1, rør and rør_1. please help every time this happens i have to redo features on the new sketch.
