Move a spline using a macro

I am needing to copy and move a spline in a sketch without using the spline's ID. Within the macro code, I have defined the selected spline in the sketch to a SketchSegment variable. Any help would be great.
  2. All my sources say I can create a perpendicular or tangent arc from the end of a line segment by holding down the left mouse button. The Direct Manipulation Tutorial even suggests the arc doesn't have to be perpendicular or tangent. Alas, I have spent far too long trying various permutations of click and hold with not even the slightest hint of an arc to show for it. What am I missing?

    inv 08 rotate sketch

Hello I cannot rotate geo in a sketch to an exact dimension. I am only allowed to move it by hand or mouse. When I type in 36 deggrees it does nothing. What eactly is it that I need to do that I am not being told? I select rotate button while in a sketch I select the geo I tell it x 0 y 0 for center point ( since it will not allow me to pick the z axis) then it will only allow me to move the geo by mouse nothing more exact than that. Is this really how the software is suppose to work or am I missing an important step? Is there a reason why you cannot use the z axis for your rotation center point when rotating geo in a sketch? Thank you
