Hi guys,

When their is a block inside a block and changes are done to the second block, how can one go back to the original block editor without going to the drawing, then having to go to the first block again.

This occurs when I'm inside a block and need to change the color of the layer for a door for example. I find that the door is a block within the original block, bt as soon as I finish changing the color of the door, it goes out to the drawing whereas I'd like it to go back to the original block. This would save a lot of time.

Cheers

I'm finding your post confusing. What do you mean by "goes out to the drawing" and "original block"?

What he is saying is when you go into block editor and then select a block inside the block your editing to edit that next block is there a way to just back out to editing the first block without closing block editor and having to re-enter it to edit the first (original) block.

As far as I know there is no way to just step back to the original block without going back to the main drawing and re-entering block editor. There is a symbol in block editor that will exit the current block then open the block editing list to select the other block, but that still goes back to the main drawing before showing the list.

Thanx MiGo,

That's exactly correct.

That's a shame though as it would save so much time.

I wonder if it could be done through coding though?
