tzframpton Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Can someone please tell me why this is? Works great in 2008 but gives me this error in 2009. And yes I have full permission to the directory. Already double checked with my IT Admin. Quote
rkmcswain Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Where is it trying to write the file, and how do you know this? If you are trying to update an existing file, is the RO flag set? Quote
tzframpton Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 I guess I don't know exactly where the FILTER command writes whatever file it needs to, but there is a directory on the network labeled "1-AutoCAD" which I have everybody mapped too. Only I have full administrator rights to this directory. I have our Tool Palettes, Templates, ACADDOC.LSP file, etc all in this directory. And I'm not sure what you mean by RO flag? Thanks for the help. Quote

tzframpton Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 To answer your question posted above this one look at the underlined letters in your quoted remark. I understand it says Read Only. That's what is weird because I have full administrator rights to the directory in which the CUI file is located. Not only that, but 2008 works just fine. Quote
SEANT Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 When I switched from 2004 to 2008 I put the Filter.nfl file in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ACADM 2009\Support At the time, there were Filter.nfl files scattered throughout my hard drive. Since eliminating all other copies and putting one early in the “Support File Search Path”, the file has been behaving. Quote
