Ryder76 Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 I didn't see a DB section so I'm posting here. I've used ACAD a long time, but I'm new to making and using dynamic blocks. I want to make a DB with several editable attributes and I want to use visibility states. What I am noticing is that they don't seem to want to be invisible. Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible to do in 2009? I have only tried one approach and have another idea that may pan out, but I would still like an answer. If my idea works I'll post it up. Quote
MaxwellEdison Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 What have you tried, perhaps you can provide a simplified example file we can help on? Quote
dbroada Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 it is possible, I know, I've done it - but I haven't worked out "how" they behave. There are some very odd things that happen but I can't remember what. Quote
Ryder76 Posted May 7, 2009 Author Posted May 7, 2009 I think I figured it out. What I was doing was typing data into all of the attributes, so I could see them while working. Well DUH the attributes I will need for the particular sizes are the only ones that will get filled out in the real world. This is only a beginning of what it will be at the end of the process, but dangit it's good to know I got it figured out for what I needed. BREAKERS WITH WIRES LEFT.dwg Quote
