hekowitz Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Hi there I have drawn a small boat in autocad 2004 (drawn theexterior shape). Now I want to build it in fiberglass and therefore need to produce the frames (for every 30cm). I have tried the function "slice", but get the reply "no solids selected". I have drawn the shape as lines and not as solid structure? Any solutions to how I can easily make frames for every 30 cm of the boat? Thanks Henrik 250 cm boat.dwg Quote
Lazarus Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Try and search the forum for a "m2s lisp routine".You can load it in AutoCAD and use it to convert your surfaces into solids. Then you can use the slice command on them. Quote
