Is there a quick 'n simple way to open a Revit *.rfa file in "vanilla" AutoCAD?

Perhaps somehow, someone might be able to convert this *.rfa file to a *.dxf or *.dwg file for me. I have AutoCAD '05 and '07.

"Invalid File", sorry couldn't post. Back to the study hall! :glare:

Quickest way is to export the revit file to a dwg.

You sould be able to export it back to Acad 2000, 2004, 2007 & 2010 if you need to (from Revit 2010 anyway).

Got ot he big R (top Left of screen)

Export / Cad Formats / Dwg

There is an export file where you can set up your layers to look lie your traditional cad file. Takes a bit of time but is worth it.

Hope this helps
