smplyanne Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Hi- I am drafting in CAD 2007, and I am doing a project in Metric. I would like to lay my drawings out in 1:25 scale; yet when I go to the viewport scale menu- it doesn't exist. I only have 1:20 and 1:30. Is there a way to add 1:25? Quote
smplyanne Posted May 18, 2009 Author Posted May 18, 2009 Yep. I Got It Now. Bling Bling. Thanks!! Quote
Tankman Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Does scalelistedit exist in '07? Scalelistedit is in '07. Thank goodness! I use '05 on my laptop, '07 in the office (workstation). Quote
BIGAL Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Easier way if you have the modelview toolbar open you can type a scale value in so long as your dwg is set to metric eg 5 = 1:200 4 = 1:250 2 = 1:500 quiker than scrolling the list ok heres how it works 1m = 1000mm 1000/4 =250 etc Quote
AlinOz Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 And here's anothery from us old codgers - Make your viewport current and use the Zoom command. Here's the procedure: In the Active viewport type in 'Z' Enter; at the command prompt type in '1/25XP' (i.e 1 25th times Paperspace). See, told you there's usually always a better/ another way to do just about anything... Quote
