Civil 3d 2009: Unhandled Exception EO434F4D at address 7C812AEBh

Hello, I'm so glad I found this forum, really hoping for some help!

 

I'm the IT guy and not an autocad user and without any autocad training, but I am tasked with supporting our autocad installs.

 

Out of the 70+ installs of autocad only 2-3 are really giving a lot of trouble.

 

We recently flattened these three machines, reinstalled everything from scratch and things were going fine. For about a week.

 

Now this familiar error keeps coming up:

The dialogue box title is:

 

Exception in acapp.arx ARX Command

 

and inside the Dialogue box:

 

Unhandled Exception EO434F4D (e0434f4dh) at address 7C812AEBh

 

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

How are these 2 to 3 machines different from all the rest?

 

Could the problem be attributed to .NET Framework?

 

Have you tried the REPAIR option located on the installation disk?

Could this be same problem as with the AcCamera.arx Command

Try to do the same with the acapp.arx file.
